Floridian Ceramics. A new brand, a new website, a studio to fill.
The brief
Floridian Ceramics was relaunching as a new brand with a new website, and the business behind it had changed. The studio now runs on classes and memberships, not just pieces for sale. They needed one library of images that could carry the site and the feed at the same time, and above all make a stranger want to book a seat at a wheel.
That's a different picture than a product shot. It's hands in clay, an instructor leaning in, a first bowl coming off the wheel.
The approach
Shot in the studio, scheduled around a live class so nothing had to be staged. Students at the wheels for the classes pages. The instructor's hands guiding a student's for the membership story. Finished pieces and the shelf of glazes for the shop. The room, wide and bright, for the site's hero.
Every setup framed twice: wide with headroom for site text, tight for square and vertical crops. Same light, same colour, so the site and the feed read as one brand.
Where it ended up
Built for the site. Cut for the feed.
